The bombing of Darwin was on 19th February 1942 known as the secret war of Australia.
2015 marks 100 years since the ANZAC Gallipoli landing. In conjunction with this occasion new interpretation boards have been installed to enhance visitors knowledge on the construction and difficulties faced by the Allied Works Forces during the Second World War, 2017 75th commemorative anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin.
